Scagglethorpe Stomping Ground

Nestled between the Yorkshire East coast, and the historic city of York is Scagglethorpe Stomping Ground. Scarborough is 19 miles away, and it is 30 miles to Whitby.  Local amenities are under a mile, including restaurants, convenience stores, and of course the pub. Local events include food markets, concerts, and the Goathland steam train.

Scagglethorpe Stomping Ground can be the ideal location for your wedding, festivals, or just private parties and celebrations. We can also sub-divide the space to deliver smaller events.

What can we do

Ramblers, cyclists, and walkers, can enjoy the local routes and trails,  taking in the local wildlife and scenery.  If you are into astronomy, we are also an ideal place to watch the stars.

Scagglethorpe Stomping Ground can also handle large or small corporate team building days, and we never say no to adrenaline type of events, including motorised.

You can rent our show ground which has been used for dog shows and car shows in the past.

Access to Scagglethorpe Stomping Ground

Access to the site is on purpose built tracks. There is plenty of parking for supplier vehicles or your guests. We have no noise reductions on any part of the land.

On site camping is available, but we are ideally located for a range of hotels and other accommodation.
