Tangerine Cafe and garden is in the centre of Beaminster on the west side of Dorset. And with two pubs nearby, including several shops. We also have several parking spaces, and a car park nearby.
The garden is part of the Tangerine Cafe. Our in house catering is always available, with amazing selections from our menus. We do offer a buffet selection as well.
Because we are an operating business, we do not require temporary events licences.
And with gatherings for up to 50 people.
We can supply tables and chairs, and there is plenty of shade from our beautiful apple and holm oak trees. And we have a gazebo for any extra additional shelter requirements.
Also guests have use of the orangery and snug for indoor use if desired. The space is private yet easily accessible.
However the garden is flat and has access from the front and rear entrances. Enabling access for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
Although situated in a conservation area, the trees are pruned carefully to ensure the shade is not lost. The borders have a range of shrubs and flowers. There is an ‘insect hotel’ to encourage more bees and other insects into the garden. A range of birdlife can be seen and heard.
The summer house offers a secluded protected space, and the terrace is excellent for obtaining an overall view of the garden and enjoying the sunshine. By contrast, the patio area is shaded.
Our orangery and snug are included within the space offered. The orangery seats up to 15 and the snug up to 8. The snug allows a private reflective space if needed.
