Planning Stage

Supporting you from the planning stage. Helping you to put best practice safety processes at the heart of your event plan. Ensuring that your risk assessments are robust and fit for purpose. Preparing you and your plan for any safety advisory group or licencing meetings that your event requires.

We will support you in all of your meetings. From your own planning meetings all the way through any other meetings that are needed as part of the planning process. These include safety advisory group meetings, licencing meetings or any other meetings that are required to get your event off the ground.

The Safety Advisory Group will reference the Purple Guide as part of their considerations. We hold an active subscription to the guide and so we can ensure that all the guidance that we provide you is in line with this. This is the bare minimum standard that our advice is based on. Our advice is also given based upon over twenty-four years of event safety experience.

We will utilise tools such as DIMALICED and ramp analysis as part of your planning process and provide copies to be included within your event plan. These analytical tools mean that we can analyse the potential behaviours of your attendees and identify any pinch points or risk points in the planning phase, and we can the resource them accordingly.

Health Risk Assessment

Also, we now include a Health Risk Assessment. This has been added to the Purple Guide following the Covid-19 pandemic.

We will also support you in reviewing risk assessments and method statements that are provided by suppliers to your event. Ensuring that they are of the highest standard.

Every event has three phases. The build, the show, and the breakdown. We support you through all three.

Our team will attend site for your build phase and provide support. We can also provide both safety and security staff as part of this phase through agreements that we have in place.

And we will attend site for the show days and provide support. We can also provide both safety and security staff and traffic management staff for the show days. Again, this is through agreements we have in place.

And we will attend site for the breakdown as well. As with the other phases we can provide safety and security staff if required.

The support that we provided doesn’t end there though.

We will also provide you with a full debriefing document. This document provides you with full feedback from us. It is in three parts. What went well, what could have been done better and what could be done to improve the safety of the next event even further.

This then forms the basis of next times planning.
